Eat Your Way To Better Health

Helichrysum Anti-Aging Under-Eye Liquid Mask

  • 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosehip oil
  • 2 drops Helichrysum essential oil
  • 2 chamomile tea bags
  • Optional: Cotton pads or round cotton pads

Directions:

Brew a strong cup of chamomile tea using the two tea bags. Let it steep for about 5-10 minutes, then remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool completely. In a small bowl, combine the aloe vera gel and rosehip oil. Mix gently to create a smooth mixture. Add 2 drops of Helichrysum essential oil to the aloe vera and rosehip oil mixture. Helichrysum is believed to have properties that can help promote skin rejuvenation and reduce the appearance of fine lines. If using cotton pads or round cotton pads, dip them into the cooled chamomile tea until they are fully saturated.

Gently squeeze out any excess liquid from the soaked cotton pads, then apply the Helichrysum Anti-Aging Under-Eye Liquid Mask by placing the soaked cotton pads under your eyes. The soaked cotton pads should adhere comfortably to the under-eye area. Lie back and relax for about 10-15 minutes while the mask works its magic. After the allotted time, remove the soaked cotton pads and discard them. Gently pat the remaining liquid onto your skin. Follow up by applying a small amount of your favorite moisturizer if desired.

Note: If you don’t have cotton pads, you can also apply the liquid mask directly under your eyes using your clean fingertips.
