- 1 medium beet, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
- Ice cubes
Directions:
Add the chopped beet, frozen mixed berries, banana, unsweetened almond milk, chia seeds, and maple syrup (if using) to a blender. Add a handful of ice cubes to the blender to help thicken the smoothie and create a more refreshing texture. Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness, if needed, by adding more maple syrup or another sweetener of your choice. Pour the beet berry smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
