The Best Way to Prevent Cancer

What happens to the body when a cell goes rogue? Most people don’t realize just how often our bodies experience a little rebellion among the ranks. Yet, a whole other world resides inside us with a constant slot of cells that are healthy and strong right alongside the cells that have had a change of mind. Cancer has become more and more common. While there are a number of contributing factors that increase someone’s chance of getting cancer there is still plenty of things we can all do to reduce our risk.

With A Rebel Cell

Every cell within our bodies has the ability to become cancerous. All cells are designed to replicate. However, cancerous cells are damaged and replicate at an accelerated rate. It is kind of like getting your foot stuck on the gas pedal and not being able to stop. Normally, our body has numerous precautions to prevent this from becoming a larger problem. When a cell becomes abnormal in a healthy body it is tagged or flagged and special cells eliminate the damaged ones. Unfortunately, if there is any issue in our bodies ability to identify, label, and eliminate these cells our health begins to decline at an accelerated rate.

Factors That Increase Cancer Risk

One of the biggest contributing factors that prevent our bodies from protecting themselves is inflammation. The second biggest contributing factor is due to poor nutrition. Unfortunately, when we consume high amounts of processed foods, which has become our new norm, we unknowingly click all the largest contributing factors boxes all at once. Highly processed foods contain high amounts of estrogen-based chemicals which only fuel most forms of cancer. Due to the fact that processed foods contain a number of chemical properties designed to mirror natural elements our bodies are unable to distinguish friend from a foe they wrap these compounds in fat and store them until they can be dealt with at a later point.

Fat acts as an additional energy source when our bodies are running low on energy stores. This means all of those chemicals that were encased to prevent them from wreaking havoc now enter the bloodstream causing massive amounts of inflammation and damage. These toxins tend to overload our livers, whose main purpose is to eliminate toxins while producing hormones in an attempt to keep things in balance. When our livers become overworked it can spell even more disasters for our health.

How to Stop Things Before They Start

What can we do to prevent this from happening? Luckily, there is a way to work on everything at once! Making the switch to an anti-inflammatory diet along with detoxing regularly is a great way to ensure your body can continue to support you in your daily tasks. If you are looking to prevent cancer, improve your immunity, and slow down the signs of aging might I suggest a diet that is anti-inflammatory and high in antioxidants? No matter what, to support your health it is imperative that you detox at the very least every season.
